The LDS young women program is a program for teenage girls from the time they turn twelve years old until they turn eighteen, at which point they join the Relief Society program, which is for women aged eighteen and above. I should know this as I am a member of the Young Women's program and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The exact ratio between men and women in the LDS missionary force is constantly changing, as missionaries leave and come home every week. However, generally, about 10% -20% of Mormon missionaries are women. The number of female LDS missionaries is expected to rise quite dramatically over the next several months as the minimum age requirement was lowered from 21 to 19, (as of October 2012) making a mission more accessible for many young women.

Where can i find The LDS young women's theme in Japanese?

The LDS Young Women theme should be available in the Japanese edition of the Young Women/Personal Progress manual. As I don't read Japanese (and have no way of typing it here...) I'll direct you to some websites where you might be able to find it. First, the Japanese language site for the Church. There is probably a PDF version of the Young Women manual available through the site. If not, you can order it from Church Distribution online. (You may have to call the hotline and ask specifically for Japanese, foreign lanugages are often not available online.) That site is also available. Check the "Related Links" below to get to these sites.
