during the fire drill, we rushed into the courtyard.
Yes, of course. If there is an "unscheduled fire," you would naturally want everyone to respond the same way they do during an unscheduled fire drill. Some fire departments require advance notice when a school is going to pull a fire alarm for anything other than an actual fire, but there is no particular requirement to pre-announce a fire drill to anyone inside the school.
The students have to be QUIET during a fire drill because they need to pay attention to the teachers directions.
A fire drill which is intended to be a fire drill. A fire drill should and needs to be a process where you do it once with telling all the occupants of the building to be prepared and talk them through it. Then, do it again unexpectedly to ensure that they still understand what to do in an event of an emergency evacuation! Sound the fire alarm for a good period of time aswell, this ensures that every gets the message that they need to leave- as only sounding it for a few seconds will cause the occupants to think that it's just a false alarm or a test and they will not doing anything. Maybe block an escape route or and exit/corridor for the fire drill purpose. To make people think of other quick ways to escape just in case that did happen in a real fire. Also alert the fire service that you will be doing a drill, some fire alarm systems automatically link to the fire service, so it will send out a hoax call causing a big fine for you!!! Some people outside the building who hear the fire alarm may also think that there maybe a fire, so just alert them!
what happens when pollution alarm set point reached during operation
The purpose of a fire drill is simple and mostly common sense. It is there to help inform you that something is burning, and if there is a fire, the fire alarm it is loud. It saves millions of lives. Say you were sleeping and a fire happened in the kitchen and your bedroom is upstairs, and you didn't know, a fire alarm goes off to alert you so you have time to distinguish it or escape and survive.

Being on a small boat during a hurricane isn't save and can kill you. The small boat will probably be destroyed. During a hurricane people should stay inside.
Most places make no announcement over intercom pr public address systems during a fire drill. They sound the evacuation alarm (usually a bell, horn or klaxon) and people evacuate the building, just as if it were a real fire. An intercom or PA announcement may be made when the all clear is given and people reenter the building. That announcement might be something like, "This has been a drill, Thank you for your cooperation." If the intercom is the only way to alert people to the need to evacuate, then an announcement that the building is to be evacuated should be made. To make the drill most effective, it should be the same announcement that would be used in a real fire, and should not include the information that "this is a drill." So it might be something like "Attention! Attention! Please walk quickly and calmly to your nearest exit and evacuate the building." If you tell people it is a drill, some will ignore it and not evacuate - and that reduces the effectiveness of the drill.
