There is nothing "bad" about Siberian Huskies. However there are a few things that can make them challenging as pets. These include but are not limited to; a strong desire to run (often not toward you...) as strong prey drive, being a working breed they have a LOT of energy, they are a pack oriented dog (meaning they do better with at least one other dog) and they can be very strong headed or stubborn. They are often a little too smart which can make it difficult to get them to do what you want them to do. If you have the ability to work around these instincts or to use them for positive outlets a Siberian can be one of the most wonderful companions you will ever have in your life.
--As owner of three, I'd like to add that they are also destructive. They'll chew on anything from drywall, to shoes, to chair cushions. If you have to leave them in the house, kennel them up to prevent this.
