Shared environment
Many studies have shown that personality is a result of genetics AND environment. There are actually genetic disorders which cause people to have happy-go-lucky, extroverted dispositions (see Angel Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Downs Syndrome). This is a result of certain genes being left-out of a gene sequence or altered. If a gene influences personality that much it seems to imply that genes have a part in personality development.A study called Genetic and environmental influences on observed personality: Evidence from the German Observational Study of Adult Twins determined that personality is a result of "40% genetic, 25% shared environmental, and 35% non-shared environmental influence. Extroversion was the only trait that seemed not to be influenced by shared environment".
Personality is the set of unique characteristics that each person has. These can be shared with others, but the sum of these traits makes a person's personality.

Classification is the process of grouping similar patterns or objects together based on shared characteristics or attributes. This helps to simplify the organization of information, making it easier to identify relationships and make predictions. By categorizing patterns, it becomes possible to better understand how they are related and how they differ from one another.
The Myers-Briggs personality type expresses thoughtfulness and dependability. They are also the rare type of person to remember, in great detail, a conversation that they shared two years ago.

The underlying basis of taxonomic groupings of organisms is the similarities of their anatomical, behavioral, cellular, and biochemical characteristics. Ideally, taxonomic groupings reflect shared ancestry.
