belts.
Asteroid belts are not individual celestial objects themselves, but rather regions in space between planets that contain numerous small rocky bodies called asteroids. These belts are typically located in the inner regions of the solar system, such as between Mars and Jupiter.
Jupiter is the best example.
There seems to only be one major asteroid belt in our solar system. In-between Mars and Jupiter. Edit: There are technically 4. "The asteroid belt" between Mars and Jupiter, the "Greeks and Trojans" that follow along Jupiter's elliptical, the Kuiper belt, the final one, is quite far out and though it is effected by our Sun's gravity. It is called the Oort field and orbits between 5,000 and 100,000 AU's from our solar system.
The belts and zones of Jupiter result from the planet's convetion and it's rapid differential rotation.
Jupiter's atmosphere is known for having belts of clouds, made up of alternating bands of light-colored zones and darker belts. These cloud formations are caused by differences in the composition and temperature of the planet's atmosphere.
Jupiter has belts with opposing wind directions. This causes extreme turbulence along the interface, which has resulted in a giant storm that is larger than Earth on Jupiter's surface.
Mars does not have an asteroid belt. The Asteroid Belt happens to lie between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, but does not belong to either of them.
The belts and zones of Jupiter refer to alternating bands of clouds that encircle the planet. The belts are dark-colored, low-pressure zones with sinking air, while the zones are light-colored, high-pressure regions with rising air. These structures are caused by Jupiter's fast rotation and dynamic atmosphere.
Do you mean What planet is between jupiter? Well Between Jupiter there is no planet but just his moons and the next planet is saturn. So yeah and then saturn's moon is also in between. But there are Planets surrounding jupiter and saturn.
