It will bolt right into the engine bay without a problem.

There are one in the same. a B18c4 engine is merely a version of a b18c engine. Appears in the 1997-2000 EUDM Honda Civic 1.8 vti (and VTI-s) in both 5dr hatch and estate version. Produces 167 @ 7600rpm and hits the limiter at 8400rpm Commonly used for swaps into civics.
B18C, depending on you local smog laws a B18C from a jdm Acura Integra would be the easiest and cheapest way to get your civic going faster. Drive safe
Im sorry i dont know!
I was not wondering if a B18C engine will mate to my 1997 Civic manual transmission because I know it will not fit.
The fastest engine for a del sol is the GSR motor from the Integra GSR It is a B18c with 178 hp and 128 lb-ft torque. The best direct-fit engine is the B16A which came in the VTEC trimline standard. This is a 160hp engine
The B20B or B20z Engine from the Honda CRV is not a very good platform if you are looking at building a serious engine. These engines were not produced the same as the B16a or B18c blocks with the same quality and tolerances, So inherently the castings differ alot and tend to be very weak! Any good B18c block will be fine and in particular the B18CR. By changing the pistons to 84mm you will have a 2 litre engine which will benefit greatly from more Horsepower and Torque :)
A JDM motor is a B18C with no numbers at the end and a B18C5 is a USDM type R
make sure you have fuel coming to your injectors, could be your fuel pump.
