Gunbroker.com is an excellent choice. I purchase my first handgun through them. Haven't used any of the other sites though.
auctionarms.com and gunbroker.com both feature online gun auctions. AuctionZip.com has thousands of live auctions containing guns, and many of these auctions allow online and/or absentee bidding. You might also try GunsInternational.com Gun Classifieds, you deal direct with the seller.
Gun auctions can be found from many different resources. Online, some of the best resources for finding gun auctions include the websites GunBroker and Calguns.

On line auctions are your best bet
There is some information at bluebookonline, but the best way is to search all the online firearms auctions and find out what similar guns are selling for (not the starting price or buy-it-now price). The problem with browsing free online auctions is that you don't get any historical information or data on numbers produced, which is critical to determining rarity. You also don't get information on what you should be paying based on condition. The Gun Digest instant gun values solve that. For a couple bucks each, they pay for themselves when you buy your first gun. See the link below-
The Blue Book of Gun Values can help. More current information as to what it might sell for can be found in online auctions. Local gun shops and gun shows can also be useful.
You would have to search pawn shops and the online gun auctions such as GunBroker.com and AuctionArms.com
On line auctions are the best place to see what they are bringing.
