femoral triangle is a triangular depression in front of the thigh.
boundaries:
medial border- medial border of the adductor longus muscle.
lateral border- medial border of the sartorius muscle.
base - inguinal ligament.
apex- sartorius overlapping the adductor longus muscle. apex lies 10cm below the inguinal ligament.
roof - skin, superficial fascia, superficial inguinal lymph nodes, superficial veins, fascia lata.
floor- lateral to medial side, the floor is formed by the muscles namely illiacus, psoas major, pectineus, adductor longus.
sartorius, adductor longus and the inguinal ligament
There is femoral triangle, through which femoral vein, femoral artery and femoral nerve passes down to thigh. Femoral hernia passes through the femoral triangle. It passes through complicated path and is almost always very difficult to reduce. It is common in females and usually demands surgical interferences.
is injury caused by knife in the femoral triangle of leg,it injures feroral artery, femoral vein and femoral nerve which lies outside the femoral triangle...it causes paralysis of quadrecips femoris also sensory deficit in thigh and leg
sartorius
iliacus,psoas major adductor longus ,piriformis
The femoral sheath is a downward prolongation of abdominal fascial lining into the lower limbs. It covers the femoral vessels and lymphatics for about 1.5 inches into the thigh. But the femoral nerve, which is the principal nerve of lower limb, lies outside this sheath. The reason is that the major nerves lie outside the fascial envelope.

Yes. Turn your leg outward and forward (anterolaterally). There's a triangular depression in the thigh known as the femoral triangle. The femoral artery can be palpated there.
The femoral triangle.
Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
The femoral artery looks like a light-coloured tube about 1cm in diameter that passes down the inside of the thigh alongside the femoral vein and femoral nerve. It is not visible from the skin surface, but a pulse from it can be felt in the femoral triangle. It has branches in the circumflex arteries and the profunda femoris artery, and becomes the popliteal artery after passing through to the back of the leg through the adductor hiatus, a hole in the adductor magnus muscle near the distal end of the thigh.
The borders of the suboccipital triangle are as follows:* inferior border = Obliquus Capitis Inferior * medial border = Rectus Capitis Major * lateralborder = Obliquus Capitis Superior
