This is the #1 Cause of a Saab To Shut Off WhileDriving..From Own Personal Experience.Who ever is sitting in passenger seat, or a pocketbook or yours. Is hitting your key in the ignition and it's turning the key to the off position.. Most stupid thing SAAB ever did was put key ignition in the middle of the to front seats.
If you lost power while driving it could be the alternator. Its not charging your batter anymore
The most likely problem is that the alternator/charging circuit is failing.
Check the fuel pump.
Chrysler does not use reset / inertia/ shutoff switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.
Sounds like the transmission needs servicing - filter and fluid change at a minimum, possibly more.
The fuel pump shutoff switch is located in the right front passenger footwell , in the right corner , somewhere between the dash and the carpet

Simple answer is the alternator
I had a 1999 Grand AM same thing happened to me. A while after that i was driving and the radio lost power, then the power steering. I had the alternator and battey replaced and that fixed the problem.
Had this problem with a Mustang. After months of trying everything it was the pick up in the distrubtor
If you are looking for a reset switch, Dodge does not use them.
