I was actually in a rollover car accident in 2009. It was a suburban and there were 6 kids in it, including me and I was the only not wearing a seatbelt. Everyone survived and my mom got the worst, her arm was ripped to shreds. But I got out with only a couple scratches on my arm.
I think my case was just lucky. I don't think it is likely for someone to survive a car crash without a seatbelt in general.
Depends how old the kitten is. If they are 3 months old or over, then they can manage. Any younger and the chances of them surviving are slim.
It is for your safety. More people without a seatbelt die in car accidents than with seatbelt. So I require to use the seatbelt. See here for more information about seatbelt usage: How_much_does_it_cost_to_replace_a_window
Fine
no its comletly againsed the law but if your the one without the seatbelt and your under age then the ticket ant goin to you
Well, I think you asked that question because you were ticked about something. The answer is obvious... come on. Seat belts are the to take the energy from you so you don't do a faceplant into the dashboard or air bag. When that car is going 65 mph, so are you, and when that car stops, you don't and the seatbelt will slow you down. I know where you're going with this and you must have had some bad experience or know someone who did, but the simple fact is seatbelts do save lives. Rarely a seatbelt will cause more injury than without, but almost always the seatbelt will give you a better chance of surviving an accident. I'm a firefighter and EMT and I've seem some pretty bad stuff, but I've seen worse without a seatbelt, so get over the hardheadedness and please, buckle up!
Depends on where you live.
Motorcycle rider and passengers are required to wear a helmet in california. It is a good law since chances of surviving a motorcycle crash without a helmet are slim.
Yes, in Indiana you can receive a seatbelt ticket if you are caught not wearing a seatbelt while driving, regardless of whether you are inside or outside of your vehicle. It is a primary offense, so law enforcement can cite you for not wearing a seatbelt even if you are not actively driving.
they will hit the windshield and hurt their head
There are a number of reasons why a person may not wear a seatbelt in a car or other vehicle. These include:The person is permitted to travel in that vehicle without wearing a seatbelt, possibly for a specific job or task.A person cannot wear a seatbelt due to a medical condition. Some people may also travel in a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt because they forget to put one on, or consciously decide not to wear one (which is illegal).
It varies by state, but typically children over a certain age, like 18 or 13, are allowed to travel in the back seat without a seatbelt in some areas. However, it is always safest for everyone to wear a seatbelt regardless of age or seating position.
