Rhea was, in greek mythology, Zeus', Poseidons' and Hades' mother. Her husband was the Titan Lord Kronos. She was obvoiusly very smart because she fed Kronos a rock (instead of Zeus) after he ate the rest of the Olympians. She passed on her responsibility to her daughter, Hera, which was the responsibility of motherhood and the heavens. She was also a goddess of comfort and ease, a blessing reflected in the common Homeric phrase "the gods who live at their ease (rhea)." Rhea was closely identified with the Anatolian mother-goddess Kybele. They were both depicted as matronly women, usually wearing a turret crown, and attended by lions
