You absolutely have to go to an accredited college to become a registered nurse. If you do not, you will not be able to sit for NCLEX registration exams.

High school courses don't matter, none of them will count in college.
At the bachelor's level, it is typically a college algebra and most likely a statistics course.
To become a registered nurse you will need to attend some college and/or university. Many community colleges offer great nursing programs and can be completed in as little as two years.
In the United Kingdom it would take 3 years.
