There are three primary parts to an atom (In varying quantities); two of which can be broken down even further. Protons with positive electric charges, neutrons with no electric charge and electrons with negative electric charges.

Electrons cannot be broken down in to smaller parts, but protons and neutrons are composed of what's called "quarks". There are six types of quarks, known as 'flavors". These are "up", "down", "strange", "charm", "bottom" and "top". However, the majority of protons and neutrons are only made of "ups" and "downs".

The protons and neutrons are located at the core of the atom, and make up what's called the "nucleus". The electrons of the atom orbit around the nucleus, and the path by which they orbit is known as the "electron shell".

What components of an atom do not have charge?

a neutron

How are there components arrange inside the atom?

electrons

How do these components of atom differ from each other?

There are three main components in an atom. Protons and electrons have +1 and -1 charges respectively. Neutrons carry no charge.

What are the three picies to an atom?

The three main components of an atom are as follows: Protons (Which have a +1 charge) Neutrons (Which are nuetral) Electrons (Which have a -1 charge)

How does the size of each compare with the size of the neutral atom form which it is formed?

A cation is smaller than the neutral atom because one electron is removed from the original atom to form it. An anion is larger than the neutral atom because one electron is added to the original atom to form it.
