By black powder do you mean gunpowder? It is made of; charcoal, sulphur and saltpetre( sometime called potassium nitrate)
I've never shot any of my guns using MRI blackpowder, I've always used GOEX or sometimes I'll use 777. I've been shooting blackpowder guns for many years and I've never heard of MRI. Is it real blackpowder or is it a substitute blackpowder?

"firework powder" is usually gun powder or blackpowder... So yes both of these options can be used in cannons, but don't mix blackpowder with gun powder since they burn at different rates.
