there are 3 main component of immunity which helps to maintain the innate immunity. these are-
1. anatomical barrier such as skin, mucosal membrane, conjuntiva
2. physiological barrier such as fever, Ph, oxygen tension etcf.
3. phagocytosis which is performed by W.B.C.
Phagocytic and natural killer cells, inflammation, and fever are components the innate immune system's response to disease.
hand up the shirt to grasp the boobies.
The first and second lines of defense are both components of innate immunity, that is defenses that are present at birth. The job of the first line of defense is to keep microbes out of the body. They include the skin, mucous membranes and their secretions and the normal flora. The second line of defense is activated once the microbe gets into the body. The second line of defense includes white blood cells (which "eat" invading microbes), inflammation (which is used to isolate the microbes and facilitate tissue repair), fever (which inhibits replication of microbes and enhances WBC performance), and antimicrobial substances.
when it gets past the first line (the skin)
Second line servicing includes all servicing of air craft components and systems laid down in servicing instructions.
Maggot Line
The Maginot Line
Innate is non-specific. It includes the first and second lines of defense. The first line of defense contains the skin, mucus membranes, and normal micro-biota. The second line contains the complement system, phagocytosis, fever, and inflammation.Adaptive is specific. It includes the third line of defense. The third line of defense contains B cells, which make antibodies, and T cells, which kill the target pathogen, and encourages phagocytosis. There is a huge difference between innate and adaptive immunity. Innate immunity is one that is triggered as soon an antigen gets into the body. As for the adaptive, its has to be specific and will allow be introduced once the antigen is recognized.
Your skin is the first line of defense.
Your skin is the first line of defense.
Your body's third line of defense is specific defenses, such as the immune response.
Your body's third line of defense is the specific defenses, these defenses are called the immune response.
The Siegfried Line was a series of defenses on Germany's western frontier. The Lindberg Line was, of course, PanAm..
the body's second line of defense against pathogens is the B cells.
