Their hair was shaved and belongings taken, men and women were separated, women and small children were killed in gas chambers ( theydid not know, they were told they were getting a shower/cleansing) men were put to work. If they were too young or old to do anything they were killed in acidic chemical pits or burned alive. They were only given bread, soup and water as food and portions were small
