By current issues if you are referring to what non-witness topics are currently in the public eye, the fact is Jehovah's Witnesses by way of their neutral stand regarding politics and the doctrinal separation they maintain with other religions remain somewhat out of the limelight regarding the popular "issues" of today.

If by "current issues" you are referring to what is of interest to Jehovah's Witnesses themselves, their point of focus has remained constant in that they concentrate on preaching the gospel and publishing the good news from The Bible.
