He designs for both men and women, and has bridal and evening collections in addition to day-wear and ready-to-wear. Rohit started his career with his brother Rajeev Bal at in New Delhi in 1986, and started his own first independent collection in 1990. Today, his masterpieces are sold at $15,000 and above.

With the urge of learning more about designs, he joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology, where he learned the art of fashion from cutting to stitching.
