Similarities between Earth and Venus are -
Similar in size
Very few craters indicating a relatively young surface
Density and chemical composition are similar
Differences between Earth and Venus are -
Venus has no moon
Venus' surface temperature is about 400 degrees Celsius
Venus' atmosphere is toxic to Earth based life
Venus' atmospheric pressure at the surface is about 90 times greater than Earths
Venus takes about 243 Earth days to complete one full turn on its own axis
Venus takes about 224 Earth days to complete one full orbit of the Sun
Scientists are considering the similarities and differences between Earth and Venus, to try to figure out Earth's fate.
There are many differences between Venus and Earth. Here are some of them:
The first difference is that Venus does not have a natural satellite like the Moon that Earth has. The second difference is that Venus does not have a carbon cycle that traps the carbon dioxide that makes up ninety-six percent of its dense atmosphere. The third difference is that Venus is covered in opaque clouds of sulfuric acid so its surface cannot be seen from space with the visible eye such as Earths surface can be seen. Three similarities Venus and Earth share are their bulk composition, gravity, and size.
venus and earth are similar because they both are the same size, mass, and density. earth and venus are different because of earths atmosphere. venus's atmosphereic pressure is about 90 times the pressure on earth.
Differences
1.Well the differences are that Venus has an atmosphere that is made of mostly Carbon Dioxide (Co2) and Earth has an atmosphere made mostly of Nitrogen and Oxygen.
2.There is a lack of plate tectonics on Venus.
3.Venus is the hottest planet in the Solar System and has a thick Carbon Dioxide atmosphere.
Similarities
1. Both planets have a core, mantle and crust.
2.They nearly have the same gravity, so if you weighed 100 kilograms on earth you would weigh 91, you would barely feel the difference.
3.They both nearly have the same diameter.
Glad I could be of Service Thank You
Earth is the 3rd planet and Venus is the 2nd planet
1. the venus has no oceans.
2. the Venus is covered by a layer of thick clouds.
3. and there are trapping heat in its atmosphere.
The differences between Venus and Earth are that Venus have oceans like earth. Venus is much hotter than earth. the similarities are that Venus and Earth both have volcanoes.
Well there is allot of things alike with Venus and earth (espanol Venus y La Terrie)They are named the twin brothers
earth is 75% water, venus is not
Similarities Between Earth And VenusSome of the similarities are:Both Venus and Earth were formed about 4 ½ billion years ago by gas. Both Venus and Earth have a solid surface. Both Venus and Earth have about the same density, which means mass per unit volume.
One similarity between Mercury and Venus is that they are both smaller than Earth. They are also both closer to the sun than Earth.
bad weather
Venus is called the Earth's Twin because Venus is almost the same size as Earth, only with a different about 5%. Venus has a metal core, and earth has a metal core, too. This is pretty much where the similarities end.
the planet uranus doesnt have air yu can breath but earth has air we are able to live there

one is stinky and the other ix freaks
1. the venus has no oceans.2. the Venus is covered by a layer of thick clouds.3. and there are trapping heat in its atmosphere.

They are both "rocky" planets and orbit closer to the Sun than the Earth.
Mars and Venus at most, yet they haven't many similarities.
nothing they are opposites
Venus is mistaken to be classified as earth's "twin planet" its mainly because it is only a couple hundred kilometers smaller then earth. but it has a lot of differences. Venus is an extremely hostile planet for life to harbor. it has a thick atmosphere of sulfuric clouds that traps the heat in the atmosphere. If it is the "twin planet" of earth would it supposed to sustain life?
Earth has life and water. It is an Inner planet and is rocky.Mars is dusty and more bumpy.Saturn has a ring around it.im not so sure about the others though
