A large no. of technologies and approaches are used by ethical hackers.
It can range from a simple BufferOverFlow Exploit to a SQL Injection.
Different approaches require different techologies.
It can range from pure C/C++ to MSF(Metaspliot Framework).
Overall its difficult to name such a large no. of approaches and techologies used by Ethical Hackers.
But a few of them are:
Phishing, BufferOverflow, PHP Injection, SQL Injection, Denial-Of-Service attacks, KeyLogging, BackDoors etc.
They can also use the bugs present in already built software. For e.g.
Adobe Reader Bug, MS Help & Support Center Bug, 445 port bug etc.

∙ 12y agowhat hackers always try to do to approach u is to send u e-mails telling u u won something. if u mean how do they approach u on videogames u would start getting random invites from ppl u dont even know. do not ever join if u do and u have had bought stuff online with the e-mail u r using they can steal ur identity
