The US Government is devised in to 3 branches. The Judicial, Legislative, and Executive. The Judicial branch intreperts the law and makes decesions based to how they intrepert the consittution. This is done through the Supreme Court. The Legislative branch makes the laws. Laws are introduced to Congree as Bills. THey then vote on them in hopes of getting the Presidents approval. The executive branch carries out or enforces the law, through officers at the federal, state, and local levels. The President is in charge of this branch.
No branch is more important than another. Instead all the branches limit and control the power of the others through a system called checks and balances. Basically, each branch has the responsibility to take action if another branch gets too powerful.
