angels are people who grew wings when their time was up to die. If their good deeds weighed more than the bad. How ever when the bad deeds than they rott into demons and go to hell.

During the Medieval period, scholars classified angels into nine orders, with "ordinary" angels and "arkangels" in the lowest two and "seraphim" and "cerubim" in the top two. The others varied slightly, but were some arrangement of Thrones, Powers, Dominations, Virtues and Principalities. The basis for these rankings is not clear; possibly it was a sort of intellectual exercise, but the system was shortly augmented by opinions as to which sort of angels "ruled" which aspects of life.

The word, "angel" means "messenger" or "herald" and there are two broad views of their identity. In Jewish and Christian tradition, angels are a sort of celestial people and like humans, have free will. Islamic belief is that angels are mere projections of their god and do not think for themselves. The role of "fallen" angels in Islam is taken by the Djinn or genies.
