Around the years 1968-1970, Louison worked on a few collages in the Commonwealth of Dominica using typical local materials, some from trees and plants. One of these materials was the 'Jumbie bead', a bright red seed with a black eye, from a local perennial climbing plant that goes by the Binomial Nomenclature of Abrus Precatorius.
