Although variable terms are known as Undefined, due to their nature of having not yet been defined, there are a few functions that are naturally undefinable.

1/0 - This divides one into a certain number of zeros, which is impossible. The nature of this means that any number divided by zero is undefined.

Logx (-1) - This is another impossible one as it suggests that X^n = -1. To which there is no n. This means that you cannot log a negative number with any base.

Finally, 0/0. - This may seem to fall under the 1/0 category, but as 0 times anything is zero and anything divided by itself is one, this term is even less defined than the others.

Contrary to simple mathematics, there is a square root of -1, it is known as "i" or "j" and represents the beginning of the complex number set.
