· Electrostatic plotter use inkjet cartridges to print information onto paper, instead of using a pen to draw the required information like pen plotters, making electrostatic plotters a faster form of plotting. As well, the quality of output is much richer than pen plotters, as they use ink to produce an output instead of standard pen ink. Commercially, the uses for a electrostatic plotter are also far more viable than using a pen plotter. For example, creating a large poster would require both high quality and a small lead time (time between printing initiation and outputting result). A pen plotter can achieve both objectives, but electrostatic plotters can achieve them faster and with more quality, making them ideal for commercial printing.
Prints large graphic drawings and also mechanically moves a pen over a large sheet of paper
A device that draws pictures on paper based on commands from a computer. Plotters differ from printers in that they draw lines using a pen. As a result, they can produce continuous lines, whereas printers can only simulate lines by printing a closely spaced series of dots. Multicolor plotters use different-colored pens to draw different colors. In general, plotters are considerably more expensive than printers. They are used in engineering applications where precision is mandatory.

Thers are two types of plotters, namely , (i) flat bed plotters, and (ii) drum type plotters.
The Plotters was created in 1996.
One of the main disadvantages is that you cannot erase a pen. Once you've written something in pen it stays there. Another one is if you press to hard the ink could go through the page onto the table or whatever you're writing on. Also, a pen can run out of ink. Unlike a pencil you can't sharpen a pen.
the plotters were catholic
A plotter is a computer printing device for printing vector graphics. In the past, plotters were widely used in applications such as computer-aided design, though they have generally been replaced with wide-format conventional printers, and it is now commonplace to refer to such wide-format printers as "plotters," even though they technically aren't.

Yes. A plotter is a kind of printer but it uses a pen to draw shapes, diagrams, maps etc. Some plotters have a few pens so that the output can be in multiple colours.
