Im a student myself and i know that if you give a student too much freedom they can become pretty rude and very clingy they can practically find ways to get around the teachers which is very rude. but if you ask me some students like myself ... lol are pretty hard working and they always get told off with the class so you have to give freedom to those that actually care about work ETC hope this helps

I am 18 years old and I am completely happy that my parents were strict with me because I have good morals, goals, and ambitions. Do not give your kids too much freedom. They will be more likely to do drugs, or drink, or get into trouble. They may hate you for constricting them early on but it definitely pays off. Trust me..

Kids only do drugs and have issues like that because the parents are either a: TOO controlling or b: never there and/or doesnt show them a lot of love. I'm a 20 year old and I actually had pretty much no restrictions on what I wanted to do. I'm in college and I was in all honors and AP classes and pretty much can do whatever I want as far as a career goes. I feel like I usually do the right thing, and I'm really not a party animal either.. You have to let kids make their own choices honestly, but BE there for them, or they wont know what to do once their in the real world. Anyways, you dont want to give teenagers too much freedom for the sheer fact that if you don't go about it the right way they can take it as a sign of weakness and try to take advantage of it, or even push for more.
