If you're referring to a general "jack-of-all-trades" doctor, that would be your general physician. If you're looking for statistics on which type of doctor people see most often, then
a) I don't believe most people would be willing to publish that information and
b) I'm too lazy to do research on winter break :)
By stepping on them because they don't see them
That would most likely be ineffective and inappropriate in most cases.

Doctors often check the eyes of a person who is dead to see if there is any pupil movement. Testing is also done to check alcohol or drug levels.
Usually, people are afraid of doctors because they don't see them as normal people. Doctors are people just as you are. And see if that helps.
Many uninsured people see the same doctors insured people do, but are considered "self pay" and pay their medical expenses out of pocket. Often, people with no money or insurance will use hospital emergency rooms to address their health problems, often leaving the hospital and the community to absorb the cost of that medical care if they're unable to pay.
Most people went to a doctor only as a last resort, and those who knew better sought the help of "wise women" or other herbalists who used common sense methods. If these people were caught practicing medicine, however, they would be tried as witches, so doctors were the only safe people to see for an ailment.
People's rates are going way up, even after Obama said we can keep our plans and doctors. People will see what a disaster this is.
It depends but I am guessing not very often
People see the faces of others extremely often, especially when at work or in a public place. Some people stay home and don;t see any faces that day.
