Dogs can get sick just like all of us. We share many diseases, such as: Albinism, Ataxia, Deafness, Glaucoma, Hypothyroidism, Epilepsy, and even cancer. Some diseases only dogs have such as: Hip and elbow displaisia, Shar-pei fever, Pug dog encephalitis, and Lick Glaucoma.

To relieve your dog's frustration, leash your dog and take him for one or two walks per day. Walking your dog on a leash is much better exercise than if your dog is simply running around in a yard; this also give the dog the needed mental stimulation that it so badly craves. New sights, new smells and it give the dog a feeling of a purpose to his life.
