Why does water travel through a big hole faster than a large hole?

It doesn't. All of the physical, chemical, and mechanical properties and characteristics of big holes, as well as their cultural, economic, political, and social behavior, and the reaction of virtually all common fluids subjected to their influence, are in every way identical to the corresponding features of large ones.

Who invented the rocket stove?

The rocket stove was invented by Dr. Larry Winiarski in 1982. This stove is typically fueled by small diameter pieces of wood or similar materials. Though it is not widely known in much of the developed world, the rocket stove is becoming important in many places, as it reduces the amount of fuel needed for cooking by half, and produces very little smoke, compared to open fires. Also, the design is so simple that stoves of this type can be manufactured at almost no cost. The ecological and economic implications are potentially very important. There is a link below.

What country is leading in space technology?

The United States. Although the US is facing problems due to financial and economic difficulty, it is still the number one leader when it comes to space exploration. Despite the end of the space shuttle program, there are still huge secret projects such as the X37B program that are at work. Plus, as space tech gets denationalized and companies start to turn space exploration etc. into an industry, America will still lead thanks to its dynamism in entrepreneurship.

What is space technology?

Space technology is technology that is related to entering, and retrieving objects or life forms from space."Every day" technologies such as weather forecasting, remote sensing, GPS systems, satellite television, and some long distance communications systems critically rely on space infrastructure. Of sciences astronomy and Earth sciences (via remote sensing) most notably benefit from space technology.Computers and telemetry were once leading edge technologies that might have been considered "space technology" because of their criticality to boosters and spacecraft. They existed prior to the Space Race of the Cold War (between the USSR and the USA.) but their development was vastly accelerated to meet the needs of the two major superpowers' space programs. While still used today in spacecraft and missiles, the more prosaic applications such as remote monitoring (via telemetry) of patients, water plants, highway conditions, etc. and the widespread use of computers far surpasses their space applications in quantity and variety of application.Space is such an alien environment that attempting to work in it requires new techniques and knowledge. New technologies originating with or accelerated by space-related endeavors are often subsequently exploited in other economic activities. This has been widely pointed to as beneficial by space advocates and enthusiasts favoring the investment of public funds in space activities and programs. Political opponents counter that it would be far cheaper to develop specific technologies directly if they are beneficial and scoff at this justification for public expenditures on space-related research.

Should the government spend on space exploration?

We should spend a minimum amount on space exploration, mainly using unmanned vehicles. We (the USA) can not afford to spend too much, because we are trillions of dollars in debt and there are too many more important programs that need the money more than space.A historically informed perspective:One of the periods of greatest technological and economic advancement in the history of the US was between 1962 to 1972. This period of time coincides with the Gemini and Apollo programs. The US space program produced advancements in science across nearly all disciplines, many leading to improvements in the US economy and standard of living. It can only be surmised that continued, possibly even increased emphasis on space exploration would produce similar results today. To end a potential solution to huge problems in society because of those very same huge problems in society is incredibly foolish and short sighted.
