The effects of global warming and climate change will have a serious effect on Mauritius. The warming of the Indian ocean will bleach and kill the coral reefs located around the island. The coral reefs are one of the tourist attractions of Mauritius. There is also the likelihood of increased flooding of low-lying parts of the country, especially around Grand Baie.
See this 60 Minutes report on the Maldives, a similar Indian Ocean country, at the link below.

The Maldives will be affected because sea levels will rise due to thermal expansion resulting in floods as there, the land lies low. Initially they will be affected by storm surges which will flood their croplands with sea water, making them useless. Later the whole islands may be submerged.
Global Warming is evident anywhere in the world. In Mauritius, there are sea level rises, temperature extremes, and more extreme cyclones
Yes there is a climate change in Mauritius, due to deforestation in regions like Mare-aux-Vacoas and Grand Bassin. Rains are not coming and thus we are facing a severe drought.
By the rise in sea level. Also the change in the weather is causing little rainfall plus increase in heat.

Volcanoes do cause global warming and ozone depletion. But the amount is very low.
Because it effects their habitats
The effects seem to be mostly negative.

No.
There are many effects. Global warming is a example.

Global warming is heating of earth. It causes ozone depletion.
Global warming can be halted by halting the greenhouse gases. These gases are the ones responsible for warming.

True global warming does not decrease temperatures. So, either the model for global warming's effects is hokus-pokus, or global warming as presently claimed, does not exist. Some global warming followers will have you believe that global warming makes the weather "act crazy". If true, then it is not really global warming, is it.
There are several thesis statements one could make about global warming and its effects in the world. For example: Global warming is resulting in more frequent and more severe weather events.
