Methamphetamine is a stimulant that affects the brain by creating feelings of pleasure, increased energy levels, and elevated mood. However, it is very dangerous and affects the Central Nervous System (the brain) creating symptoms similar to Parkinson's disease. It can also cause intercranial (in the skull) bleeding and heart failure, as well as lung and digestive system problems. Not to mention that it can ruin people's lives in nonphysical ways such. Many years can be spent in rehab trying to end meth addictions and personal relationships can be ruined.

I have taken Ritalin and the side effects I have seen are loss of sleep and appetite. I have also had stomach pains if I didn't eat before taken it.
