A Fjord is a breed of horse from Norway. They can be found in most places but might be rare in hotter countries as they are specially adapted for cold weather and challenging terrain.

Fjords were formed through ice glaciers. They existed and were ultimately steep, carved valleys in the earth. When the sea levels rose, these were submerged, then emptied out. That is how they became fjords.
