you are stupid if you dont know this question.
In the Northern Hemisphere there will be a general warming trend and in the Southern Hemisphere there will be a general cooling trend. These effect are more noticeable the further from the equator you go
The outback is a general term which refers to the vast, remote areas of inland Australia. Because it is an Australian term, it is something found in the sourn hemisphere.
North America is in general further north since all of it's land lies in the northern hemisphere while some of Africa (south of the "armpit" and the "horn"), lies in the southern hemisphere.
Robert E. Lee was the southern general.
a hemisphere is half a sphere, 3 halves only works on "car-talk".(or - all of them?)If you are taking the general division of the Earth into the Northern/Southern and Eastern/Western hemispheres, then the African continent actually has parts in every hemisphere.
First of all you have got your question wrong, there are only 2 hemispheres. The 2 hemispheres are called Southern Hemisphere and Northern Hemisphere. The Northern Hemisphere is home to Continents such as North America and Europe. Were Southern Hemisphere is home to Continents such as Australia and South America.SourceGeneral Knowledge
For anything small (like a bathtub), it doesn't - that's an urban legend. The theory is that coriolis forces makes water swirl one way in one hemisphere and the opposite way in the other - but that force is quite utterly negligable on small amounts of liquid or gas - such as your bathtub. The effect DOES work at the scale of ocean currents and hurricanes. Hurricanes in the northern hemisphere rotate counterclockwise, those in the southern hemisphere (which are properly called "Typhoons") rotate clockwise. The coriolis force comes about because the earth rotates. If you think about a wind blowing south from somewhere far into the northern hemisphere, as the wind travels southwards, the planet rotates from west to east causing the air to be spun around in a counter-clockwise direction. The opposite happens in the southern hemisphere.
Energy always flows from a HIGHER state to a Lower state, regardless of the Hemisphere you are in.

Hemisphere means 'half the world' and you can take that as Northern and Southern Hemispheres or Eastern and Western Hemispheres. Each hemisphere, however you divide them, is involved with nearly all the processes that the other is involved in, i.e. all the general workings of the Earth.
You find the sun in the same general place all year round; it is toward the south in the northern hemisphere and toward the north in the southern hemisphere. During your late spring and early summer it reaches higher in the sky than during the colder seasons.
