How long administrative discharge takes?

Unfortunately there is no definite length of time. I myself am waiting on my Administrative Separation from the United States Marine Corps and I have been told that it will take anywhere from 30 to 90 for them to process this. Your request would have to go up in front of a Discharge review board and then receive the endorsements from the officers higher up in the chain. Only thing you can do is just wait and request updates on the status of your separation

What do the codes in block 19 of a military DD form 1966 mean?

They are waver codes (reasons why the person does not meet normal requirements, but should still be allowed to serve). DD Form 1966, "Record of Military Processing - Armed Forces of the United States" is an enlistment form. Block 19, "Service Required Codes," is completed by military personnel. Generally, waiver codes go here, but specific codes need to go in specific blocks -- I will not list the specific locations of specific codes in this forum. The codes used in Block 19 are governed by DoD Manual 8320.1-M-1, "Manual for Standard Data Elements." Here are the codes used by the US Marines. Other services have their own codes, but many of the codes overlap. AYB Age maximum exceeded for enlistment purposes waiver granted by CG MCRC level. What are cons of whaling?

There are many reasons against whaling. The primary reasons include ethical and humanitarian grounds that highly advanced marine mammals such as whales and porpoises are intelligent and sentient life forms. They are also highly endangered by human activity (such as whaling and fishing itself). Whaling on these grounds is cruelty and risks destroying other intelligent life on Earth to unnecessary extinction.
