Goats will sometimes eat pampas grass. However, most animals will probably not enjoy it. The leaves are spiky and unpleasant to eat due to that.

Most animals avoid pampas grass due to the toxicity and the bad taste. Goats however, are not picky eaters and will consume pampas grass on a regular basis with no ill effects.
