Royal Masonic School was created in 1788.
Probably because it closed down and the Boys' Grammar School became independent and continues to be a school. I don't think any of the three girls' schools Princess Royal School and Foxcroft Girls' School exist anymore.

The royal Tudor girls read, went to eat and did all that royal-ish stuff. Whereas the common Tudor girls did housework.
