The easiest cake recipe I know is this:
3 eggs
6 ounces sugar
6 ounces butter
6 ounces self raising flour.
You mix the butter and sugar together (it's called 'creaming') til it's smooth and all mixed up. It helps if the butter is soft.
Then you mix in the eggs one by one.
Then you mix in the flour.
Then put it in a cake tin and cook for about 45 minuts at 180 degrees.
