A, B, C, D, E, F, G on white notes. Though the names of both black and white notes vary according to the key signature through enharmonic change; for instance, a B flat is also an A sharp, and a G is also an F double sharp (yes, you can get those!).
The way I learned, Is by getting a piano, keyboard, one of the two, and matching your voice with the notes played on the piano/keyboard. From there, you can work on it.

Not sure how power cables relate to keyboard operation or operators. If the length of the keyboard's cable, or where it enters the keyboard, gets in the way of how one interacts with the keyboard then there could be an ergonomic problem.
