Ohio is known to be a very flat state with near-to-no mountains, or plateaus. There are numerous Great Lakes that lie in Ohio. Dayton Ohio geologically is said to be a morain. This is a flat plain created by the advance of the last glaciers which stopped close to Cincinnati, which is 50 miles south. This is why the topography of Cincinnati is so much hillier than Dayton. Dayton also lies in the vicinity of three major rivers: The Mad, Stillwater and Great Miami river mom
