All the Muslims who follow the holy teachings and practices of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Almighty Allah be upon him.), and act upon the commands given by Allah Almighty in the Qur'an, and advise others to do so may claim m to be the leaders.

However, the first Four righteous Caliphs - Hazrat Abu Bakar (RAU), Hazrat Umar Farooq (RAU), Hazrat Usman (RAU), Hazrat Ali (KAW) are the true leaders. Then come the Imams of Sunna, the Scholars who collected/gathered, sorted and printed /stored the Sayings/actions of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Almighty Allah be upon him.) Then there are FOUR Imams of Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqah), Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa Imam-i-Azam (RA), Imam Malik (RA), Imam Ahmad bin Hambal (RA), Imam Shafie (RA).
