Pass.
You should stop. This is for the safety of the children getting off the bus.
Not if it is a normal school day. Judges don't think kindly of people that speed around kids. And since there are pavement markings, multiple signs and warnings, it's pretty hard to convince them that you didn't see any of them. And what was blocking the lights or signs? A school bus? I had a friend come within inches of death when a car ignored the warning lights.
It was called "Friday Night Lights" because...in states that are huge fans of high school football--like Texas and Pennsylvania--high school football is usually played on a "Friday night"--under the "lights." Hope this helps. ;-)
It means that you are approaching a school.
I recently got a ticket for passing a school bus that was not flashing lights but was opening the stop sign as I was approaching the bus. I received my fine and almost fell back for knowing that my fine was $742. I appeared in court and now appealing the fine. It was not my fault that the bus was not flashing the lights.

Reduce speed and keep a sharp look out for children crossing, until you are clear of the area.
yes it is a kid in my school did it and they called the cops but he got of with a warning because he didn't "know"
What state are you referring to? What is meant by "not repainting?" As long as the name of the school or school district is painted out and the warning lights and clear flashing strobe light are not operational, there is no nationwide law that former school buses be re-painted from their normal yellow color.
A warning sign.
