I believe you are talking about orbs. They are supposedly one way that a spirit or ghost can manifest. Orbs are not a phenomenom that is usually associated with ghosts anymore, cause almost every time they are caught on tape or in a picture it is just dust or a bug. But if you are seeing them with your own eyes, and not in a picture or recording, then you know they aren't a bug or dust.

Does it go completely dark at night around the summer solstice in Dublin Ireland?

You do have dark nights around the summer solstice in Dublin. It will still be quite bright well after 10pm on a clear night, and it will start to get bright very early, with a split of roughly 17 hours daylight and 7 hours of darkness. Around the summer solstice, while the sun does set, the northern horizon does still have a little noticeable brightness throughout the night when it is clear. You do have dark nights around the summer solstice in Dublin. What is Grayed Color?

A saturated color is a bright, intense version of that color. A "grayed" color has had some of its opposite color mixed in, making it not bright, maybe a little "dull" looking. FYI, to "gray" a bright green, mix a little red with it. To "gray"bright yellow, add a tiny amount of blue to it.
