You have about 500 lymph nodes are there in your body. There are about 300 lymph nodes in your neck region only. It is not possible to remove them all. When you remove few lymph nodes, it does not affect your health adversely.

This is because buboes are the swelling of lymph nodes and the neck, groin and armpit are junctions of the major lymphatic vessels.
It is generalized which means swelling of the nodes occur in several parts of the body including arm pits groin and neck
