Guru Nanak's Gurpurab is traditionally celebrated as a full moon festival.

Hola Mohalla festivities coincide with Holi, the Hindu festival of colors. During this time Sikhs put on displays of weaponry demonstrating Gatka, the Sikh Martial Art.

Bandi Choir is celebrated during Diwali, the Hindu festival of lamps and commemorates the freeing of Guru Har Govind from imprisonment.
