Anything that is in the ground may be in well water in very small quantities. This is why well water should be tested annually for potability ( human safety) and for minerals. It is quite common for minerals such as iron to be found in well water, - not poisonous but harmful to Plumbing. Almost all items can be removed by different kinds of filtering. -However I cannot stress enough, if you use well water for human consumption, get it tested !
