Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma
Well, unlike Jewish, Islam and Christianity, Hinduism doesn't believe in one god. Therefore the three main gods are given three main duties : Brahma creates, Vishnu looks over the life and Shiva take cares of the death. One reason why they are not united can be because these three are the three main stages in a human's life and therefore Hinduism sees it as three distinct yet powerful elements. (Note: There are certain instances in Hinduism which indicates that all the Gods are one)

Note that the view depends on the philosophy followed by the person. For a worshiper of Shiva, he is all in all, creator, sustainer, and destroyer. The same is true for worshipers of Goddess Durga also.
