Colorado is famous for its significant natural resources and they are oil, corn made for ethanol, three different types of coal (bituminous, subbituminous, and lignite). Colorado has 2 of the nation's 100 largest oil fields and 7 of the nation's 100 largest natural gas fields. The major rivers also provide hydroelectric power and the constant wind patterns are great for the wind farms

Siemens Water Technologies has a manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs.

Wanco has a facility in Arvada. They manufacture signs and those arrowboards you see on road construction sites which direct you to merge into the open lane.

Scott's Hyponex is in Fountain, and cultivates palletised soil for landscaping, gardening, etc.

There's a manufacturer in Denver whose name I can't remember.. they manufacture conveyor devices.

As a truck driver who lives in Colorado, these are some of the places I've picked up loads from within the state.
