"Mini-quests" or ad-games are temporary advertising games in the Poptropica style, usually with a short adventure mission and a reward of an effect or special costume. The regular advertisers include Sony Pictures, Disney, Pixar, LEGO, and Kellogg's Froot Loops.
A maxi-game, "Haunted House", premiered in October, 2009, and is available free through the Poptropica Store. It is longer than an ad-game but much shorter than an actual island. Completion of the Haunted House earns the user 50 Poptropica credits.
