Toronto is the capital of Ontario. Ottawa (which is also in Ontario) is the capital of Canada.

Other major cities are:

London, Kingston, Hamilton, Windsor, Peterborough, Belleville, Cornwall,

Thunder Bay, Salute Ste. Marie, Sudbury.

Then there are a lot of cities around Toronto, so that you don't know where one ends and the other begins: Markham, Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York. this is all true because i am coolness!! I am not from Canada but i know more tha canadians!
