There are Seven (7) Covenants in Scripture as follows:
1. Edenic Covenant - Genesis 2:16-17
2. Adamic Covenant - Genesis 3:14-19
3. Noahic Covenant - Genesis 8:21; 9:17
4. Abrahamic Covenant - Genesis 12:2-3; 17; 18:10
5. Mosaic Covenant - Exodus 24:4-8; 34:27
6. Gospels of Jesus Christ - Galatians 4:4; Hebrews 7:17; 21; Romans 5:10, 2 Corinthians 5:19
7. New Covenant - Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 6:20; 8:6; 9:15; 10:10-12; 12:24.
In Biblical Numerology, the number seven represents completion or perfection.
Some other covenants are: (in no particular order)
-- the Rainbow Covenant which was between Jehovah God and all flesh (different from the Noahic);
-- The Davidic Covenant

-- The Covenant to be a Priest like Melchiizedek
-- And various other covenants.

Do you mean "are covenants important in the bible?" if then yes. there are various covenants (promises) that take place throughout the Bible between God and men as well as between people. Understanding the covenants and who they relate to is extreamly important in understanding scripture.
